Canada’s Internet service providers have been very busy suing each other over their advertising claims in the past few months.

Canada’s leading Internet providers continued to tussle over who has the “fastest and most reliable” service yesterday, with Bell Aliant suing Rogers Communications Inc. in New Brunswick over use of the term in its advertising.
Bell Aliant, a subsidiary of BCE Inc., said in a claim that Rogers is making “false and misleading claims” about its Internet service. The company argues its fibre optic Internet service is better.
“Bell Aliant wants to ensure that customers have all the facts about Internet speed and network reliability,” the company said in a release. “Rogers’ claim of being the ‘most reliable’ is simply not true.”
The claims have not been proven in court.
Canada’s Internet service providers have been very busy suing each other over their advertising claims in the past few months.
In November, Telus won an injunction in British Columbia forcing Rogers to stop advertising it was Canada’s most reliable wireless network.
Rogers itself won a ruling in December preventing Bell from claiming it had the nation’s most reliable network either.

The power hungry at it again.. If they had some quality products and services, then I would fully support their right to sue other giants but come on BELL! Give me a break.
